After starting his career as an Economist, Peter worked for a health care research organization designing and evaluating major initiatives on behalf of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. He started his own firm in 2018 and continues to consult as an economist.

Peter invests in startups and also has a portfolio of real estate investments; as both a passive and active investor. Peter also writes a blog focused on democratizing personal finance to the average American.

He is a foster and adoptive parent and a member of the Board of Directors of Embrace Families, working to improve the way foster care is delivered in Central Florida. He serves as the Chair of the finance and audit committee overseeing an annual budget of $90 million dollars.

He graduated in 2012, from Brandeis University, with a PhD. He also holds a Master’s degree in Sustainable International Development. He is married to Kendra, an emergency room physician (MD) and rock star wife and mother to their kids: Alyxis, Jaylen, Leigha, Julien, Kayci and Magnolia.
